Yes. All tools on the site are free to use with no sign-up or account required. There are no usage limits, no watermarks on your output, and no hidden upgrades. If we ever change this, we will say so clearly.

Most tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript — nothing leaves your device. A small number of tools (currently the document-format conversions for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) need server processing; in that case, your file is processed and deleted immediately. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.

For client-side tools the limit depends on your device's memory — modern laptops handle PDFs up to a few hundred megabytes without trouble. Server-based conversions are typically limited to around 50 MB per file to keep the queue moving.

Yes. There is no restriction on personal or commercial use. Our Terms do ask that you only process files you have rights to.

Document format conversion is never perfect — fonts, complex tables, embedded objects, and custom styles can all shift in translation. We aim for high fidelity, but for mission-critical documents, always review the output before sending it on.

We collect anonymous usage analytics (which pages are visited, roughly from where) so we can improve the tools. We do not create user accounts, and we do not track individuals across the web.

eSignatures are legally recognised in many jurisdictions under laws like the US ESIGN Act, the EU eIDAS Regulation, and India's IT Act. However, specific use cases — wills, land deeds, some contracts — often require additional formalities. For legally sensitive documents, check with a lawyer.

You need to know the password to remove it. We will not help break into PDFs you don't own — please only use our Unlock PDF tool on files you have the rights to access.

Double-check your inputs first — most surprises come from unit mix-ups (weeks vs months, per-year vs per-month rates). If you are sure the numbers are right and the output still looks off, email us at hello@ipdflove.com with the inputs you used. Our calculators are for estimation; final figures should always be verified with a professional.

The first time you use OCR, your browser downloads about 3 MB of language data. This is a one-time cost — subsequent runs are fast. The OCR itself runs entirely on your device, which is why nothing leaks, but also why very long documents can take a minute or two.

Not yet. The site works well on mobile browsers, though — most tools are fully functional on phones and tablets.
